MARS give talk at UK-SEDS

MARS give a talk at a Propulsion Workshop at the UK-SEDS conference.

Richard's team's rocket went far higher than the other team, however, the parachute failed to open, and millions of viewers got to see what the MARS Flight Crew have known for ages - "Don't let Richard anywhere near recovery systems."

On November the 21st, 1998. 2 members of the MARS Flight Crew, Ben Jarvis and Richard Osborne, gave a talk at a propulsion workshop organised by amateur rocketry group AspireSpace, at the 1998 UK-SEDS space conference. Held this year at the Department of Physics, Bristol University, the MARS talk was on the 1st amateur hybrid rocket (Deimos 1) launched in the UK.
